About the Dr. Wilson

Dr. Matt Wilson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008. Originally from the Western Kentucky area, Dr. Wilson grew up on a farm where he learned the values of hard work and to appreciate working in harmony with Mother Nature and the importance of organic home grown.

Prior to Chiropractic College, Dr. Wilson earned his Bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he worked in the field of avionics and aircraft electronics. He frequently quotes, “I am amazed at times how the electrical circuitry of aircraft and the human nervous system are similar. Signals must get from point A to point B without resistance in order for that system to function properly.” This technical, yet simple approach to health helps Dr. Wilson’s patients understand the principles of our profession. The power that made the body also heals the body, above down, inside out!

After spending a few years covering and working in different types of Chiropractic offices around the state of Florida where he gained a variety of valuable experience, Dr. Wilson found Maximized Living. Maximized Living and the 5 Essentials fit perfectly into what Dr. Wilson saw as the right type of wellness practice for his patients. While training with Maximized Living and working for other offices in Tampa, he saw a huge need for what he had to offer in the Brandon area. Dr. Wilson now lives in Brandon with his wife Yolanda and daughter Jolene and has a new corrective care office conveniently located in the heart of Brandon. He is on a mission to spread health and wellness to the entire community!

Have You Heard About Our Warrior Wellness Program?

Dr. Wilson is very passionate about chiropractic care having witnessed first hand the differences it makes in his patients’ lives. Unfortunately, this is a form of therapy that many here in Hillsborough simply can’t afford.

For low income households in the area, they may qualify for our Warrior Wellness program. Those that qualify will be able to come to Epic Chiropractic and Wellness to receive pro bono treatment and wellness advice. This is an important way for Dr. Wilson to give back to the local community in Hillsborough.
